But they didn't!

I'd say I can't believe you guys were live blogging for VF, but of course you write for them, so maybe less insane.

It was pure joy waking up this morning and knowing it was real and not a dream fading away from the bright morning light.

Even with the rain today, people were upbeat at work. Despite the general rules about bringing politics into work, people were talking quietly about it here and there, it was too good to hold in.

We're not sure if the one guy with spotty attendance called in because he wasn't going to make it on time (twisted bit of corporate logic), or if he was too hungover and disappointed by his favored candidate losing...

i get floored when thinking about this, got all misty-eyed on the L train home from work today. been rocking a stars and stripes bandanna, a signifier that I'd never before embraced..proud to be an american? so strange. so lovely.
