Impudent Ways: Busy Nothings From EA Hanks
The narrator SHOULD be tortured within an inch of his life! The trailer had a beautiful start, until that wet blanket voiceover came up. I watched it a second time, without the sound, and it made me feel a little better. But seriously, WTF?
The narrator was so obviously trailer-only material that I tuned it out, and I'd forgotten it was even part of it until you mentioned it and I watched it again. Sadly, the fact that it's even in there at all means that they're assuming many people watching it won't know who Keats is or be at least aware of the story. Even more sadly, they're probably right, although I would hope that would be less true among the art house audiences that will probably get to see it. They could have at least gotten a better voice for it.Other than that it looks like it will be of the quality I expect out of Jane Campion, and we only have about six weeks to wait for the real thing.
